We had a fantastic family time here. All the staffs were friendly. We ordered mixed kabab platter, nan, rice and tea. They gave mango lassi to my baby as a complimentary. Hope to visit this beautiful restaurant soon.

Wow! You will be SO happy when you find this Indian Gem! We have eaten at other Taz locations. Those are always good. But this location has something a little extra. The food is SO flavorful. The chutneys and currys are so smooth and creamy! Desserts? Yes, just YES. 12 out of 10 rating from me. I'm gluten free and can eat most of this menu. It's a nee location, so hurry up before everyone finds this new treasure!

If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine with that true South Indian flavor, look no further than Taz. This new spot just opened in Waco, and my wife and I tried their goat dum biryani, butter chicken with rice, and samosas. Let me tell you, the food was absolutely delicious. I’d give it 5 stars for the food, 5 stars for the service, and 4 stars for the atmosphere. We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be going back.

We got introduced by some friends when they were in Temple. We have gone to the waco location several times now. The owner knows us now and they always bless us! This time we got a free TAZ cup! The food is the best indian food in Waco. Even my Indian friends like it! Its worth the price since it lasts you a couple meals. I get the butterr chicken and samosas and goat bryanni. I recommend all of them.

I visited this restaurant recently and, while the buffet has limited options, the food was genuinely delicious. I’d recommend coming a bit early so you can enjoy everything while it’s hot and fresh. Many places offer a wider buffet spread, but the taste here truly stands out and makes up for the smaller selection. If there’s one area to improve, it would be the desserts—they were a bit too sweet for my liking, though I still managed to enjoy them. Overall, the food quality is excellent, and I would happily visit again. Thank you for the great meal!

Delicious eats with a wide variety of options in their menu (I’ve attached photos of the menu in this review for reference)! We’re so excited for Taz to open in Waco and tried out their food during their soft opening - so they were still working out some areas in service. Beyond that the food was really flavorful! Their menu is packed with delicious vegetarian and vegan choices and they have dosas too (crispy, savory South Indian crepes that come with stuffings)! We loved trying out both the onion pakora and non-veg and veg thali, which came with a colorful spread: biryani, naan, raita, daal, several flavorful curries, and a sweet gulab jamun dessert. The thali is a great option if you want to try a large variety of items and is good to share for two people. Please note: Their curries (outside of the chicken tikka masala) definitely had a more medium to hot spice level to start off so if you need mild you can request it but we definitely thought it was on the spicier level (which we enjoy)! Even more exciting — they’re launching an Indian lunch buffet soon! Weekday buffet starts at just $16.99, and they’ll have a weekend option too. If you’re craving authentic Indian flavors or want to try something new, definitely check them out soon! We can’t wait to return!

Such an enchanting place with wonderful lunch buffet. The food was amazing, the service was fast and friendly. The mango lassi was delicious (more tart than sweet) and the masala (though a little more spicy than my children would like) was one of the best I have ever had! My husband and I will be back - a new favorite in Waco for us!!
